US News Rankings Catapult É«ÖÐÉ« to Top 15 in Midwest

U.S. News & World Report dramatically increased its ranking of É«ÖÐÉ«, recognizing the Romeoville-based institution's continual improvement and progression. In just one year, É«ÖÐÉ« jumped up 9 spots with an overall rank of 13 in the ³¦²¹³Ù±ð²µ´Ç°ù²â.
The U.S. News ranking of É«ÖÐÉ« has continuously improved from No. 52 in 2004, No. 34 in 2014, and No. 13 in 2024.
“The remarkable growth in our reputation in the last two decades recognizes our progressive and responsive approach to meeting students where they are,” Dr. David Livingston, president of the É«ÖÐÉ«, commented.
The most notable change in ranking factors for É«ÖÐÉ« in this year’s rankings was its Peer Assessment Score, which indicates how a school is regarded by top administrators at other institutions. The historic high score for É«ÖÐÉ« was calculated from the weighted, two-year rolling average of ratings on academic quality it received by presidents, provosts and deans of admissions at institutions in a peer assessment survey.
“Our historically high peer assessment score stands as a resounding affirmation of the trust and respect we have earned from our academic peers. It reflects the recognition of the dedication and expertise of our faculty and staff, the passion and commitment of our students, and the transformative impact of our programs,” Livingston added.
