É«ÖÐÉ« Marks 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

É«ÖÐÉ« invites all to its 9/11 20th Anniversary Commemoration at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 9 in Convocation Hall at É«ÖÐÉ« in Romeoville, Ill. Visit to register for the event.

 

The event is in memory of the 72 law enforcement officers, 343 firefighters, and 2,651 Americans who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

É«ÖÐÉ« alum Eric Wilson of WTVO in Rockford will emcee the event including U.S. Congressman Bill Foster of the 11th District of Illinois, Mayor John D. Noak of Romeoville, Chicago Police Department, and Joliet Fire Honor Guard among others. Brother Ed Arambasich, OFM, fire chaplain for Joliet Fire Department, will be the keynote speaker. He was at ground zero after the attacks for helping in the cleanup, search, and providing comfort and care.
