Opt-In Emergency Notifications

Parents, family members and campus visitors can receive the same messages sent to all Lewis University students, faculty and staff about campus emergencies, road detours, delayed openings and more.

Please Note: University faculty, staff and students are automatically entered into the Lewis University Emergency Notification System. This new opt-in list is specifically for campus visitors and users without a É«ÖÐÉ« ID number.

How to Sign Up

Users can sign up at any time by texting LEWISU411to 226787 to receive alerts from the É«ÖÐÉ« Emergency Notification System.

É«ÖÐÉ« does not charge for this service; however, your mobile phone company may charge for text messages. Please refer to your mobile phone's service plan for more information.

How to Stop Receiving Messages

If a person signs up for the Text Alerts and wants to be taken off of the system, they can text “STOP” to 226787. Texting “START” to 226787 will resume / reinstate the Alert messages.
